Programs

The Tacoma CWC is dedicated to the advancement of women and
families in our community.  The Association  works tirelessly to
support and deliver  programs that foster growth and
empowerment in our  communities.

Through the ever increasing involvement of community citizens,
leaders, and organizations, the Association can  support and
deliver programs that allow citizens to build necessary skills and
resources to affect their communities and  sustain such efforts over
time.

The Association focuses on four priority areas:

Scholarship Programs for College Bound Students
Health care and nutrition programs - education and
improved access
Arts, History and Cultural Awareness
Civic and Community Leadership & Development




Services

The Tacoma CWC clubhouse has served as the premiere gathering place for citizens  throughout the Hilltop community and
beyond for over fifty years.  From hosting governors and presidential
hopefuls, to honoring cultural traditions, the clubhouse does what a
true community center is supposed to do - bring people together to
deliberate, educate and celebrate.

Complete with a grand hall, stage, audio/visual support, parking
and a fully equipped kitchen, the Club leases the cente
r  for special
occasions and meetings.  Catering and banquet services are also
available.
